Ordinary Differential Equations and Singular Integrals
We present an informal review of some concepts and results from the theory of ordinary differential equations in the non-smooth context, following the approach based on quantitative a priori estimates introduced in [6] and [5].
متن کاملRecursive analysis of singular ordinary differential equations
We investigate systems of ordinary differential equations with a parameter. We show that under suitable assumptions on the systems the solutions are computable in the sense of recursive analysis. As an application we give a complete characterization of the recursively enumerable sets using Fourier coefficients of recursive analytic functions that are generated by differential equations and elem...
متن کاملINVESTIGATION OF BOUNDARY LAYERS IN A SINGULAR PERTURBATION PROBLEM INCLUDING A 4TH ORDER ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
In this paper, we investigate a singular perturbation problem including a fourth order O.D.E. with general linear boundary conditions. Firstly, we obtain the necessary conditions of solution of O.D.E. by making use of fundamental solution, then by compatibility of these conditions with boundary conditions, we determine that, for given perturbation problem, whether boundary layer is formed or not.
متن کاملOn Singular Points of Quasilinear Differential and Differential-algebraic Equations
We show how certain singularities of quasilinear diierential and diierential-algberaic equations can be resolved by taking the solutions to be integral manifolds of certain distributions rather than curves with speciic parametrization.
متن کاملSymmetry and the Singular Point Analysis for Ordinary Differential Equations
We show a direct relation between the singular point analysis and the symmetry for ordinary differential equations. It is proved that a system with a meromorphic solution allows Laurent solutions depending on m arbitrary parameters if it has m independent symmetries, regardless of the existence of single-valued first integrals. Applying the result to Hamiltonian systems, we show a pairing prope...
